All works of Kyiv Porcelain are made of natural material, mostly mined in Ukraine. We cooperate with several leading Ukrainian companies that manufacture ceramic masses and glazes for our production according to the factory's recipes.
Any complexity
The skill of modelers affects the further process of manufacturing the product and its final appearance. Our craftsmen have 30 years of professional experience gained at the Kyiv Porcelain Factory. They are now passing on this experience to the younger generation.
Making Forms
Each sculpture has a set of separate fragments dividing it during the creation process, taking into account the technical conditions of further production. For each fragment, a form is made, which may also consist of several parts.
Magic hands
After receiving the forms, the craftsman begins to fill each of them with liquid porcelain, which slowly hardens inside. Then he carefully pulls out individual parts and assembles them into the future product. Then the assembled sculpture is smoothed by means of brushes and special devices and left to dry.
Magic of painting
We paint all our products by hand. We use ceramic paint for painting works, which was developed and manufactured on the basis of a recipe that was used even during the existence of the old factory. The painting itself is based on the samples of the original sculptures kept in the museum.
