Born in Kyiv, third generation artist. I consider porcelain to be a material with inexhaustible potential. Each new return to it is an opportunity to discern new, unprecedented contours and palettes. I experiment somewhere at the intersection of traditional porcelain decorative stylistics and narrative imagery, exploring inner mythological landscapes.
Personifying fragility (which resonates very sharply with the chaos of the modern world), porcelain is at the same time surprisingly strong - and in this duality it is extremely similar to us, human beings.
Passing through the hands of a craftsman, sometimes more than one, porcelain becomes immune to the alienation and automation of globalized material culture.
